Conference HC Shalom 11.2007...
After much work, preparations and prayer put into it, the long expected 15th annual conference in the Christian Centre Shalom was held. The conference started with powerful, anointed and exciting worshiping of our Lord Jesus Christ. Under the leadership of the Holy Spirit, Nadezda and the Shalom music group once again lead the people into God's presence and prepared their hearts for the Word and the message of our good God, which we were longing to hear. It was wonderful being there in the presence of God with many guests and just praising the Lord and rejoicing in Him...
We believe that all meetings are important, but the ones on conferences, when the people come together, that's when God, with his Holy Spirit and the prophetic word gives us new directions for a certain period of time, sometimes it's a new mandate or just a confirmation for the ministry of the believers and also the WHOLE movement.
WE BELIEVE THAT the Churches of Christian Centre Shalom have a MANDATE and a CALLING to MOTIVATE, INSPIRE and ENCOURAGE BELIEVERS with their work, acts and standings and also PROCLAIM THE GOOD NEWS - the Gospel of Jesus Christ, prophesying God's word and bringing a "BETTER Spirit" and improvement over these regions and this country.
We believe THAT we are called to cast light on the PATH for the people with God's Word. Once aging that's what happened.
The speakers were pastor Demiter, bishop Myers and the main guest speaker pastor David Myers. Pastor Myers with his fantastic message "When the bones begin to worship God" has brought new enthusiasm and faith to the believers for new victories.
After the first conference evening all the guests had a great fellowship in the HC hall with the "Swedish table" which was prepared by our hard working sisters in the church. The guests came from Zagreb, Belgrade, Novi Sad, Bratislava, Subotica, Padina, Kulpin, B. Petrovac, Selenca, Despotovo, Bac, Kisac, USA, Osijek, Gajdobra, but of course we missed a lot of people from various different reasons, but this always happenes... We thank the wonderful sisters for the great food they've prepared... :)
The second night of the conference was held in our building in Christian Centre. I usually tend to joke about our 'moving' that we are like Israel. We have a promise land (read our own big hall), but we are still not in it. This hall of 120 places is too small for our 'bigger' congregations. And now it was full, even though it was renewed, a bit widened, with a better and bigger entrance and a special room for the kids.
Of course when we are in our own space the believers are more comfortable, more free (because many still carry 'wounds' from the persecution and the stone throwing we experienced in 2001. in B. Palanka) so the atmosphere itself was wonderful. The introduction speaker, young pastor Jan Lacko and the worship team (in a little bit different team) lead us into God's presence. The message "THE SCENT OF WATER", or how Alex translated 'Smell the water' has convinced us how important it is to cry out for the new outpouring of the Holy Spirit... That vas wonderful meeting...many people vas courage, healing at refresh in Holly Spirit...
In the end we shared the joy with our guest David Myers who was having his birthday, and with a good snack and great fellowship we ended the BLESSED congregation on this conference.
We presented a flag of Serbia to the guests so they could remember our country and stand for us and our needs that are not small, in prayer in the Churches in the US
All in all it was wonderful, a blessing and very useful. A new and a different fellowship with the Church in the USA was continued...
Of course, we keep on going, the guest have left. BUT WE STAY to make the path for the new generations... and THE BEST IS YET TO COME!
